Ocean’s Oasis is a registered NGO dedicated to exploring the potential of a seaweed industry in Costa Rica. They aim to develop seaweed-related businesses that regenerate marine environments and support local communities. Through pilot studies and hands-on student involvement, Ocean’s Oasis is testing various seaweed species to find sustainable solutions for ocean regeneration and food security.

This funding has also facilitated community engagement and education, laying the groundwork for sustainable seaweed farming practices.
