ABOUT
Bionutrient Association
Since 2018, the Institute has gathered thousands of crop, soil, and food samples through its Grower Partner and Citizen Science programs. Their goal is to build a comprehensive, open-access dataset to support new tools and methods for nutrient density evaluation. While no longer producing the Bionutrient Meter, their ongoing work uses spectroscopy and predictive models to improve transparency in food quality. Their broader mission is to shift market incentives toward food that is truly nourishing, ecologically sound, and economically viable.
Contribution of Mustardseed Trust
Mustardseed Trust supported them to move forward with researching an additional crop and further implentation of the spectrometre and app based development.
