Do you want your student placement to make a difference? Are you a student seeking a placement or do you know of a young person looking for the first steps in working in the not-for-profit sector?
We are Mustardseed Trust - a small charity with a big vision: to build a world in which all beings live in partnership with the web of life.
We are seeking a student keen to make a big impact in partnership with one of our African partners -the African Rural University for women. Their mission is to provide transformational education to create effective change agents within an African development context. ARU aims to enable its students and graduates to create conditions for rural people to improve their lives, transform their communities, awaken inherent leadership and increase their capacity for self-generating development and rural economies that take care of the people and their environment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about their own future working within the not-for-profit sector and someone who wants to gain a huge amount of experience. Your research thesis will lead to a big impact on our partner in Uganda – you have the opportunity to make a difference.
This is a student placement to start in February 2023. The student must have a keen interest or experience with fundraising and social media. A partnership approach is essential. This placement is to produce a solid piece of research for us and our partner - your work will make a difference.
This will involve a trip in late February 2023 to the location as part of your placement. Remote working from your home location is possible - our preference is for a student that would be able to meet up every few weeks physically at a flex-office in the south of the Netherlands.
